Professor Zhou is mainly engaged in teaching, research and 999策略白菜网站 in the fields of healthcare, education, transportation architecture, and focuses on environmental 999策略白菜网站 for vulnerable groups such as patients, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Her recent research interests include crowd analysis, pedestrian simulation, scenario analysis, and case studies using methods from environmental behavior, ergonomics, and complex sciences. She has published more than 50 papers in journals and completed a number of architectural 999策略白菜网站 projects.

Professor Zhou holds the Bachelor and Master Degrees from Southeast University, China and Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, Japan, all in 999策略白菜网站. She was a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at National Institute of Public Health, Japan from 2004 to 2006.
